Undirected Life

Went to see Single Spies at the Theater Royal with the GF, 2.3pm Matinee. Was some decent acting on show but we found it a tad confusing, later Barker informed me it is in fact to different plays……which explains things.

Last year before I went to Kenya I had to have injection for 6 things, they where all free apart from Yellow Fever, which i was fucked off about as I had to spend £40.

Today I went to the doctor as a token effort convinced I’d be covered by my last excursion. To my horror I will have to pay for a course of 4 Hepatitis B injections at £35, £140!!!!! to have some disease stabbed into me!.

Can see being a really cool no-nonsense action game to have a laugh with on a console. Sadly the PC version is plagued with issues, its a total XBOX port and its been really rushed out, all the instructions are still for the XBOX, its runs like a dog even on minimal setting even though I have nearly double the system requirements. Also the task switching is not done which really fucks me off, the two times i tried to alt+TAB i had to reset my machine.

Must state though none of these areas concern Kiers workmanship, this is just more systematic of the lower priority of PC gaming these days for this sort of game, its a shame though, if they invested another couple of weeks in tweaking things, they would shift more units, chicken and the egg and all that.

The important thing is that my brother in arms, who bravely stood shoulder to shoulder with me in the trenches of undergraduate-dome, and fort the fight with me, against the oppression of study, has dared to raise his head above the parapet and stare the enemy of life’s obsticals straight in the eye, and he has overcome to make a name for himself. (too much?)
